LONDON (Alliance News) - Berendsen PLC on Thursday said Chief Executive James Drummond bought 10,000 shares in the company at 1,045 pence each.
This was Drummond's first share purchase of shares in the textile services company, having started in August. Drummond previously was chief executive of Avincis Group, which was acquired by Babcock International Group PLC, and prior to that chief executive of Invensys PLC's Rail division.
Earlier on Thursday, Berendsen said trading in the four months to the end of October was in line with its expectations, with underlying revenue and operating profit both growing.
Shares in Berendsen were trading up 2.5% at 1,055.00 pence on Thursday afternoon.
