(Alliance News) - Corporate restructuring specialist Begbies Traynor PLC on Friday said the managing director of a subsidiary has sold shares worth over GBP500,000.
Anthony Spencer, the MD of Eddisons Commercial Holdings Ltd, sold 656,830 shares in Begbies Traynor for a price of 80.00 pence each on Thursday, for GBP525,464 in total.
Begbies Traynor did not say how many shares Spencer now has, if any. Begbies Traynor shares were 0.3% higher on Friday at 81.50p each.
Spencer is not the first executive to deal in Begbies Traynor shares recently. On Tuesday, Non-Executive Director John May bought GBP25,130 worth of shares, and the same day another director of Eddisons Commercial, Nicholas Towns, sold GBP150,364 of shares.
On Tuesday, Begbies Traynor also reported annual results, showing a 52% rise in pretax profit for the year to April to GBP3.5 million, with revenue up 15% to GBP60.1 million. Organic revenue growth was 9%.
