DIRECTOR DEALINGS: BAE Chairman Acquires 50,246 Shares

20th Feb 2014 15:50

LONDON (Alliance News) - BAE Systems PLC Thursday said Chairman Roger Carr acquired 50,246 shares at a price of 398.04 pence per share.

The company had earlier reported a sharp drop in profit in 2013 as higher impairment charges more than offset increased revenues, and the company warned that cuts to defence spending in the UK and US would continue to weigh on its performance in 2014.

BAE shares were trading down 8.3% at 401.1 pence Thursday afternoon, making the defence, aerospace and security company the biggest blue chip faller.
