LONDON (Alliance News) - Waste manager Augean PLC said on Friday that Executive Chairman Jim Meredith purchased 1.0 million shares at 27.0 pence each, equivalent to GBP270,000.
Following this transaction, Meredith's total shareholding is 2.5 million shares, a 2.4% stake.
The firm also said that Non-Executive Director Roger McDowell bought 1.0 million shares at a price of 26.03p each, for a total cost of GBP260,000. This takes McDowell's total shareholding to 4.0 million shares, representing 3.9% of Augean.
Shares in Augean were up 21% at 32.00 pence per share on Friday.
