Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC - Warwick-based luxury carmaker - Non-Executive Director Michael de Picciotto buys 100,000 shares via Saint James Invest SA at GBP17.44, worth GBP1.7 million, on Friday last week. Aston Martin on Thursday had said it is on track to meet its medium-term goals, with production of its Valkyrie supercar scaling up. In the first nine months of 2021, Aston Martin recorded a pretax loss of GBP188.6 million, sharply narrowed from GBP307.9 million a year before. In the third quarter alone, however, its loss widened to GBP97.9 million from GBP80.5 million a year before.

EKF Diagnostics Holdings PLC - Cardiff-based diagnostics and central laboratory assay maker - Non-Executive Deputy Chair Julian Baines sells 250,000 shares at 80.76p, worth GBP201,900, on Monday. Retains 1.6 million shares, a 0.4% stake.

Whitbread PLC - Dunstable, Bedfordshire-based hospitality provider - Tracey Ewins, associate of Simon Ewins, managing director of Premier Inn UK, sells 2,000 shares at GBP33.79, worth GBP67,580, on Friday. Simon Ewins had exercised options over 15,475 shares and sold all of them for GBP515,318 late last month.
