LONDON (Alliance News) - Asian Plantations Ltd Friday said East Pacific Capital Ltd, a company owned by Joint Chief Executive Officer Dennis Melka, acquired 25,000 shares at a price of 200 pence each.
Following this transaction, he now holds 2.4 million shares, which represents 5.08% of the company's share capital.
The company also said that Keresa Plantations, a company owned by Chairman Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi, acquired 25,000 shares at 201 pence each Thursday resulting in a total holding of 29.24% of the issued share capital of the company.
Linggi is now a beneficial holder and controller of 15.7 million shares having acquired 5,000 shares at 204 pence each Thursday, representing 33.6% of the share capital.
Shares in the investment holding company closed at 197.00 pence down 2.48% Friday.
