DIRECTOR DEALINGS: APR Energy President, CEO Sell 1.7 Million Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - APR Energy PLC Tuesday said JCLA Cayman Limited, a company majority owned by APR Energy President Laurence Anderson and Chief Executive Officer John Campion transferred to its affiliates and owners 1,735,000 shares in APR Energy.

Subsequently, 1,700,300 shares were sold on Friday at GBP11.00 per share. As a result total percentage holding of JCLA declined to 7.5% of the issued share capital of APR Energy from 9.3% previously. APR Energy also said JCLA has entered into a share trading plan which will allow for approximately 5% of its residual holding, which equates to a maximum of 355,000 shares, to be sold during the next twelve months.

Following completion of the share trading plan, JCLA will have a residual holding in excess of 7% and has no intention to sell any further shares in the near term, the company said.

The company also said non-executive directors Mathew Allen and Edward Hawkes sold 563,224 and 416,113 shares, respectively, at GBP11.00 each Friday.

Following the transactions, Allen has total holding of 105,000 shares and Hawkes 425,888 shares.

Shares in the energy company were down 5.00 pence at 1,095.00p Tuesday.
