AJ Bell PLC - Manchester, England-based retail investment platform - Chief Executive & Co-founder Andy Bell and AJ Bell Investcentre Managing Director Fergus Lyons sell 3.6 million and 1.8 million AJ Bell shares at 460 pence per share, totalling GBP24.8 million on Wednesday, representing a 1.3% stake in the company. Bell retains 93.1 million shares in the company and Lyons keeps hold of 15.7 million shares. AJ Bell says the shares sales done via a placing run was carried out by London-based stock broker Numis Securities Ltd, and it will not receive any proceeds from the placing. The company says the settlement of the placing is expected to occur on January 4, 2021.
