(Alliance News) - Airtel Africa PLC on Tuesday said Bharti Global Ltd, a vehicle of Director Shravin Mittal, purchased GBP510,465 worth of shares in the telecommunications firm.
In three separate transactions between Friday last week and Monday this week, Bharti Global acquired a total of 650,000 shares at an average price of 78.59 pence each.
It was not disclosed in the statement on Tuesday how many shares Bharti Global holds following the deal.
Airtel Africa shares closed 2.9% higher in London on Tuesday at 79.25p each.
