LONDON (Alliance News) - Antibody producer and distributor Abcam PLC said Monday a charitable trust of which chief executive officer Jonathan Milner is a trustee had sold 97,655 shares at a price of 477 pence each.
The transaction took place on September 10 2013, and Abcam was notified on September 11, the company said in a release.
The company also said that it was notified Monday that scientific director Mark Bushfield had exercised options over 105,372 shares on September 12, before selling the shares at a price of 468 pence each.
Following the transactions, Milner has an interest in 26,697,385 Abcam shares, made up of a beneficial interest in 26,494,885 shares and a non-beneficial interest in 202,500 shares. Milner's total interest represents around 13.4% of the company.
Bushfield has a beneficial interest in 6,415 shares, equal to less than 1% of the company.
Shares in Abcam were trading up 1.2%, or 5.74 pence, Monday, at 475.74p.
