LONDON (Alliance News) - Directa Plus PLC said Tuesday it received two orders from an Italian workwear customer worth EUR500,000 in the next two years.
The company, which supplies graphene based products, said these orders reflect a continued commercial progress in textiles, one of its key markets.
Under the orders, the firm's Planar Thermal Circuit graphene technology will be incorporated in 10,000 workwear garments.
The first order for 2,000 garments with a value of EUR150,000 is expected to be delivered by the end of financial 2018. While the company expects the second order, for 8,000 garments with a value of EUR350,000, to be delivered by mid 2019.
Looking ahead, Directa Plus Founder & Chief Executive Officer Giulio Cesareo said he expects to receive further orders from existing and new customers in textiles in the next few months.
"This new order illustrates the commercial traction we have built in the very large workwear sector, as well as our determination to deliver significant orders in the shortest possible time from announced initial collaborations," he added.
