LONDON (Alliance News) - Dillistone Group PLC on Friday reported a fall in revenue due to the loss of a major client over the first half of 2018.
The recruitment software supplier said revenue for the first half of 2018 fell to GBP4.5 million from GBP4.9 million a year ago, as the company's pretax loss widened to GBP234,000 from GBP8,000.
Incoming orders were strong, with Voyager Software and Dillistone Systems reporting orders ahead of the same period in 2017, the company said. However, the fall in revenue reflected the previously announced loss of a major client as well as negative exchange rate movements.
"We are happy to report both Dillistone Systems and Voyager Software delivered a profit and that the group made an operating profit before acquisition related items, despite the significant investment in GatedTalent," said Non-Executive Chairman Mike Love.
Dillistone said it expects full-year pretax profit and acquisition-related items will be in line with market forecasts.
Shares in the company were down 4.2% at 57.00 pence on Friday.
