Digital Global Services Up As It Boasts 67% Increase In First Quarter Revenues

24th Oct 2013 10:06

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in Digital Globe Services Limited jumped 9.1% Thursday morning as it said revenues in the first quarter had increased 67% year-on-year in a statement ahead of its annual general meeting.

In the three months to September 30 the company had seen a 67% increase in revenues year-on-year and 21% quarter-on-quarter, Digital Globe Services said. The company, which provides online customer acquisition services, said revenues had been bolstered by the growth of its US telecommunications business and entering into new territories.

"Of particular note in the first quarter has been the launch into the UK market and our first UK customer, a leading network operator," Chief Executive Officer Jeff Cox said in a statement. "Early indications from the European market in general are that it is favourable to our business process and we are working on a good level of additional customer opportunities."

Shares in Digital Globe were trading up 9.1% at 248.10 pence Thursday morning.
