Digital Barriers Wins GBP2.4 Million In Asia-Pacific Contracts

21st Sep 2015 07:36

LONDON (Alliance News) - Surveillance technologies provider Digital Barriers PLC on Monday said it has secured four new contracts in the Asia Pacific region worth a total of GBP2.4 million in the current financial year.

The company said it has won a GBP1.6 million deal for its ThruVision people-screening technology for border security and counter-terrorism operations with a major, unnamed government agency.

It has also won a GBP300,000 deal for its integrated surveillance platform product from another government defence agency, also unnamed. In addition, it has won two TVI video surveillance contracts worth a total of GBP500,000 with two major law enforcement agencies, also unnamed.

"Each of these contract awards is strategically important for Digital Barriers as we continue to develop our business with flagship customers around the world. A further GBP2.4 million of contracts in Asia Pacific also represents further progress in a key region where our revenues doubled last financial year and are on target to do the same this year," said Zak Doffman, Digital Barriers' chief executive.

Digital Barriers shares were untraded early Monday, having last traded at 36.78 pence.
