LONDON (Alliance News) - Advanced surveillance technologies company Digital Barriers PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a GBP1.0 million deal to supply its TVI video surveillance system to an unnamed law-enforcement agency in the Asia Pacific region.
Digital Barriers said the deal is a follow-on award from the GBP0.8 million contract it signed back in February. It expects further follow-on awards to be won in coming years from the contract.
"This follow-on contract is an endorsement of our technology from one of Asia's most significant law enforcement agencies - TVI was the only solution that met their specified performance requirements and we have quickly become a trusted supplier," said Zak Doffman, Digital Barriers' chief executive.
Shares in the company were up 2.2% to 37.31 pence early Tuesday.
