Digital Barriers Secures GBP1.9 Million In Contracts In Asia Pacific

LONDON (Alliance News) - Surveillance technologies provider Digital Barriers PLC on Tuesday said it has secured two new contracts in Asia Pacific worth a total of GBP1.9 million.

The company said the first deal is a follow-on award from an unnamed Asia Pacific defence agency to provide its ISP system for use in protecting a maritime security zone. The new contract is worth around GBP1.45 million to Digital Barriers.

The second contract is for its ThruVision system, which reveals threats or goods hidden under clothing, from a government agency in Asia Pacific, also unnamed. The deal is worth GBP450,000.

Digital Barriers shares were up 4.8% to 49.50 pence early Tuesday.
