LONDON (Alliance News) - Digital Barriers PLC, a services provider for the homeland security market, Wednesday said that it had been awarded two new contracts for its unattended ground sensor product.
The first contract is with a major Asia-Pacific government to supply the ground sensor equipment for border protection, and is valued at around GBP1.0 million. In a statement the company said it was for the protection of a very high profile border, and it expects the contract to lead to significant follow-on sales.
The second initial contract is for a defence customer in Australasia, and it expects this contract to be fulfilled in this financial year and lead to further sales.
Shares in Digital Barriers were trading up 1.4% at 142.00 pence Wednesday morning.
