LONDON (Alliance News) - South Africa-focused diamond miner DiamondCorp PLC on Monday said it has raised a total of GBP5.27 million from its open offer and share placing.
The company said it secured valid acceptances for 64% of the shares made available in the open offer, but saw an over-subscription for teh remaining shares under its excess application facility.
As a result, it has raised a total of GBP5.27 million across the open offer and a GBP3.2 million share placing it conducted in June. The open offer portion had been due to raise GBP2 million.
Shares in DiamondCorp were down 3.3% to 10.76 pence on Monday morning.
