(Alliance News) - LED Lighting manufacturer Dialight PLC said Thursday it has appointed interim Chief Executive Officer Fariyal Khanbabi to the permanent role with immediate effect.
In July, former CEO Marty Rapp resumed his retirements after coming out of it in January 2018 to take up the role.
Khanbabi, who was then chief financial officer, took up the role of interim CEO. Khanbabi herself has been part of the company for six years since 2014.
"I am delighted to announce Fariyal's appointment as CEO. The board have been impressed with her leadership over the last seven months and the considerable progress made in stabilising the group and in the pace of execution of our corporate strategy," said Chair David Blood.
Dialight will publish its annual results on March 16.
Shares in Dialight were up 249.00 pence on Thursday in London.
