(Alliance News) - Dev Clever Holdings PLC said on Friday that it signed a three-year commercial agreement with voucher coupon providers Valassis Ltd.
The agreement will see the consumer engagement company provide Valassis with gamification products through its Engage system. The cloud-based platform allows sellers to promote products and offers to potential consumers, replacing the need to give out physical tokens.
Dev Clever said the partnership with Valassis, which processes 600 million coupons per year with a total discount value of EUR2.1 billion, allows it access to markets across Europe.
Chief Executive Chris Jeffries said: "This agreement is an exciting commercial partnership for Dev Clever with a true market leader, giving our Engage platform a direct route to market into some of the world's biggest brands."
"This partnership is the culmination of over 12 months of working closely with Valassis to define our joint commercial proposition and I'm delighted to announce this official partnership which significantly extends the reach of our platform to new customers and territories. The scope and scale of the brands our partners can give us access to could be transformational for Dev Clever as we enter an exciting and busy period for the business."
The new agreement comes just four days after the company said it entered a partnership with Yoyo Wallet Ltd, a platform which allows consumers to make payments via mobile phone while offering rewards based on their retail experiences. Like the Valassis partnership, the Engage platform is central to the Yoyo commercial deal.
Shares in Dev Clever rose 20% at 4.25 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
