LONDON (Alliance News) - Deltex Medical Group PLC on Wednesday said it has secured its first grant from the UK government's Innovate UK agency to back its research and development programme.
The grant will cover 35% of eligible costs on a defined project which will aim to develop and commercialise Deltex's oesophageal Doppler monitoring technology in getting haemodynamic data from patients.
Deltex said the award is expected to worth around GBP170,000 between now and the planned completion of the project in the second half of 2016.
"We are delighted that our grant application was successful. This will help us bring our next generation of innovative haemodynamic monitoring products to market more quickly to meet the growing clinical demand in many countries for enhanced haemodynamic monitoring," said Deltex Chief Executive Ewan Phillips.
