LONDON (Alliance News) - Deltex Medical Group PLC Tuesday said its French partner has had its contract to supply public hospital system in Paris renewed for a further four years.
Through the deal Gamida SA will supply CardioQ-ODM products to the Assistance Hopitaux Publique de Paris.
The company's surgical probe sales to Gamida increased by over 30% in 2013.
"France is the company's largest distributed market accounting for over 10% of total surgical probes sold in 2013 and we understand that a significant proportion of Gamida's surgical probe sales are in the Paris area," Deltex said.
Deltex said it has also established a fifth dedicated trainer account in the US at the academic medical centre of an unnamed Ivy League University.
The initial contract is for six months, at 67 probes per month, and the company has deployed one of its existing clinical specialists to support the implementation.
The stock was trading at 13.88 pence Tuesday morning, up 0.25 pence or 1.8%.
