LONDON (Alliance News) - Deltex Medical Group PLC Thursday said it has added a fourth trainer hospital in the US after the establishment agreed to implement its oesophageal doppler monitoring technology, and it expects further deals in coming months.
"This is the fourth Deltex dedicated trainer hospital in the USA and the second new one to be established since October. We are pursuing a number of proposals to move further hospital accounts on to the dedicated trainer programme in the USA, the UK and other key markets and expect to announce further expansion of the programme in the coming months," Chief Executive Ewan Phillips said.
The company only won its third trainer account in the US last month.
The company appoints dedicated clinical trainers to support implementation of the technology. It said the trainer at the fourth hospital is now in place and will accelerate growth from an initial usage of about 50 patients per month, throughout the hospital.
Deltex shares were up 0.5% at 14.95 pence Thursday morning.
