LONDON (Alliance News) - Deltex Medical Group PLC said Wednesday that it has added two new hospital accounts in the US to its platform programme.
The two hospitals are required to purchase an initial 40 to 50 of the company's oesophageal Doppler monitoring probes per month each. Deltec is recruiting two new clinical trainers to support these accounts in order to help the hospitals achieve the use of over 100 probes a month each.
This takes the company's total number of US platform accounts to 17, the company said.
"The USA continues to be an increasingly important market for us, and we see it moving even closer towards becoming our key territory for development as adoption rates continue to outperform our other areas of focus. We look forward to working with the teams at both these new accounts and are pleased to have the tenth and eleventh accounts added to our US platform programme this year and the sixteenth and seventeenth in total. Deltex Medical is now over half way towards our current goal of 30 US hospitals on our platform programme by mid-2016," said Chief Executive Officer Ewan Phillips in a statement.
Shares in Deltex were untraded Wednesday morning at 4.00 pence.
