LONDON (Alliance News) - Cyber-security software group Defenx PLC said Friday that Chief Executive Officer Alessandro Poerio will leave his role and the company next Thursday.
He will be replaced by Chairman Tony Reeves, who will become Executive Chairman until a permanent replacement for Poerio is found.
Poerio has been chief executive for seven months since November 2017, joining from Obethur Technologies Italia, a subsidiary of digital security company Oberthur Technologies Group SAS .
"I would like to thank Alessandro for his contribution to the company over the past six months, during which he has been instrumental in developing our new Defenx 2020 strategy. Despite the challenges that the company has faced in recent times, I believe that we have the right strategy in place and I look forward to taking the group forward to ensure we deliver profitable revenue growth in the medium and long term," Reeves said.
Shares in Defenx were down 2.3% at 21.50 pence on Friday.
