LONDON (Alliance News) - DDD Group PLC Monday said it has signed its first distribution deal for its TriDef SmartCam software with Hong Kong-based software developer Splitmedialabs Ltd.
The software will be used in Splitmedialabs' XSplit Broadcaster and XSplit Gamecaster live internet broadcasting and streaming applications.
The two-year deal will operate on a revenue-sharing basis, DDD said, without providing any specific figures on the value of the order.

With the growing popularity of game video sharing on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, we look forward to working in partnership with SplitmediaLabs, one of the leading developers of broadcast and streaming tools, to bring the TriDef SmartCam capabilities to a new and rapidly growing audience," said Chris Yewdall, DDD's chief executive.
DDD shares were up 12% in early trade to 2.1 pence, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share index.
