LONDON (Alliance News) - DDD Group PLC said Thursday that it had launched a new application, the TriDef 3D Gallery, on Google Inc's digital shop Google Play.
The application allows users to view 2D and 3D videos and photos in 3D on 3D TV's, smartphones and tablets.
"While the majority of mobile devices are still 2D, there are millions more 3D capable TVs in homes each month. We're excited to offer 3D TV owners the ability to enjoy their videos and photos in 3D by connecting their Android tablets and smartphones to their 3D TV," said Chief Executive Chris Yewdall in a statement.
Shares in the imaging and 3D products company were trading up 1.3% at 4.18 pence Thursday.
