DCD Media Subsidiary Commissioned For New CBBC Series

LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent TV producer and distributor DCD Media PLC said Thursday its production subsidiary, Rize Television Ltd, has been commissioned for a new children's singing contest 'Got What it Takes?' for CBBC.

The series is an adaptation of a Romanian show format 'Mom Made Me A Star'.

DVD Media shareholder Timeweave Ltd will provide Rize with a short term GBP100,000 secured loan to help fund the production and recoverable value added tax, to be repaid by end-June 2016. Rize expects to pay Timeweave a total of GBP7,000 in interest, arrangement fee and costs.

Shares in DCD Media were untraded Thursday morning. It last closed at 415.00 pence.
