LONDON (Alliance News) - Irish distribution company DCC PLC on Monday said it has appointed a new non-executive director and said its deputy chairman will step down later this year.
DCC said it has appointed Cormac McCarthy, the former chief financial officer of bookmaker Paddy Power PLC and the former chief executive of Ulster Bank, as a non-executive director. He will join with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, David Byrne, DCC's deputy chairman and senior independent director, will retire from the board after the company's annual general meeting on July 15.
DCC shares were down 0.3% to 6,140.00 pence.
