LONDON (Alliance News) - Gama Aviation PLC on Wednesday announced the departure of Chief Financial Officer David Strickland, who wants to focus on other opportunities.
Patrick Wan has been appointed as finance chief at the aviation services company while a permanent successor is sought, with Strickland remaining until then to help with the handover.
Wan has over 30 years financial experience, Gama said, and was finance head at one of China's largest maintenance and repair business. He has also previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Chief Executive Marwan Khalek commented: "I am grateful to Dave for his service during his tenure with the company, through what was a very challenging period.
"He has been instrumental in the implementation of improved financial reporting and processes; we are committed to building on these foundations and continuing these improvements. The board and I would like to thank Dave and to wish him every success in his future career."
Gama shares were 1.9% lower on Wednesday morning at 105.51 pence each.
