LONDON (Alliance News) - Solo Oil PLC and Stellar Resources PLC issued statements Friday saying that David Lenigas, chairman of both oil and gas companies, has retired.
Lenigas has been the chairman of Stellar Resources since April 2012. Stellar Resources said it has appoints Donald Strang as executive chairman to succeed Lenigas.
It also said that Emma Priestley has been appointed to the board of the company as an executive director.
In another statement, Solo Oil PLC said it has replaced Lenigas with Neil Ritson as its new non-executive chairman. Ritson has been executive director of the company since December 2010. Lenigas was chairman of Solo Oil since January 2008.
Solo Oil also said it has appointed Strang and Fergus Jenkins as two new executive directors.
Solo Oil shares were trading 2.2% higher Friday afternoon at 0.715 pence, while Stellar Resources shares were flat at 0.675 pence.
