LONDON (Alliance News) - Electricals retailer Darty PLC on Wednesday said the deadline for France's Groupe FNAC to make a formal takeover offer for the company has been extended to November 20.
The pair reached an agreement in principle on Friday for Groupe FNAC, the French electronics retail chain, to acquire Darty for around GBP615.0 million.
The takeover deadline had been today, but has now been extended to November 20.
Shares in Darty were down 2.0% to 102.875 pence on Wednesday.
