(Alliance News) - Darktrace PLC on Thursday said Chief Operating Officer Nick Trim will step down in June following his resignation earlier this year.
The Cambridge, England-based cybersecurity company announced that Non-Executive Director Jill Popelka will resign from the board with immediate effect and join the executive management team on June 1 to replace Trim.
Popelka has over two decades of experience managing operational practices and recently served as Snap Inc's head of enterprise services, Darktrace said.
In her new role, Popelka will be responsible for implementing operational best practices and will report to the company's head Poppy Gustafsson.
"Since joining our board of directors at the beginning of this year, Jill's insights and experience have been invaluable to me and to the executive team. Her background in scaling high growth businesses will be a huge asset to Darktrace, and we look forward to having her join our executive team," Gustafsson commented.
Darktrace shares were up 0.1% to 589.40 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
