LONDON (Alliance News) - Dairy Crest Group PLC on Friday said Muller UK & Ireland Group LLP has offered concessions to the UK's Competition and Markets Authority regarding its acquisition of the FTSE 250-listed company's dairies business.
The CMA now has until August 21 to decide whether the undertakings offered by Muller will be sufficient for it to approve the deal.
Dairy Crest agreed a deal with Muller in November to sell its dairies business to Muller for GBP80 million, leaving it focused on its spreads and cheeses operations.
Shares in Dairy Crest were up 0.2% at 533.00 pence on Friday afternoon.
