LONDON (Alliance News) - Banking group CYBG PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Mark Thundercliffe as its new chief risk officer.
CYBG has poached Thundercliffe from HSBC Holdings PLC, where he is currently the chief risk officer responsible for management and oversight of risk for the bank's retail banking and wealth management businesses across Europe.
CYBG said Thundercliffe's appointment was subject to regulatory approval.
"I'm delighted to announce Mark's appointment as chief risk officer. He will be a strong addition to a dynamic management team which has been renewed and greatly strengthened over the past year," said Chief Executive David Duffy.
Shares in CYBG closed down 0.9% at 207.22 pence.
