LONDON (Alliance News) - Property investor Custodian REIT PLC on Monday said it has acquired a new property in Torquay for GBP4.3 million and has bought development land in Stevenage for GBP3.1 million.
Custodian REIT has acquired the ground floor and part of the first floor of a leisure development in Abbey Sands in Torquay. The properties acquired include four food and drink outlets on the seafront, it said.
It has also acquired development land at the Gunnels Wood Industrial Estate in Stevenage which has been pre-let to Morrison Utility Services. A 23,161 square foot warehouse will be built on the land.
Shares in Custodian were down 0.5% to 107.5 pence on Monday.
