Curzon Energy Promotes Non-Executive Director To Chief Executive

6th Nov 2018 11:09

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas company said on Tuesday it has promoted Non-Executive Director Scott Kaintz to chief executive officer with immediate effect.

He will replace Stephen Schoepfer, who has resigned after two years in the role.

Also resigning are Chief Financial Officer Thomas Mazzarisi and Technical Director Thomas Wagenhofer. All three will remain with the company in consulting roles for the development of the Coos Bay coal bed methane project in Oregon, US.

Kaintz has been non-executive director at Curzon Energy for five months since July. In an executive role, Kaintz is currently an executive director at Regency Mines PLC and Red Rock Resources PLC, in both positions for seven years since 2011.

"It has been a pleasure to work with Stephen Schoepfer, Thomas Mazzarisi and Thomas Wagenhofer as they are all talented professionals who have played key roles in Curzon's development to date. Stephen Schoepfer and Thomas Mazzarisi in particular have made significant contributions to our Coos Bay coal bed methane project for many years both before and after the IPO of Curzon," said Chairman John McGoldrick.

Shares in Curzon Energy were untraded on Tuesday, last quoted at 2.75 pence.
