CSF Appoints Acting Leong As Chief Executive, Delays Accounts

11th Jul 2014 08:11

LONDON (Alliance News) - CSF Group PLC said Friday it has appointed Michael Leong as acting chief executive and has delayed the announcement of its full-year results to September.

The data centre facility provider said that it had decided the search for a permanent chief executive should be a longer-term objective, and the appointment of Leong will provide operational continuity for customers and employees.

Leong previously acted as the head of the management committee at CSF.

In order to provide time for its to finalise its year-end audit, CSF will delay its full-year results announcement from the week started July 21 to the end of September.

"The board is confident that under the leadership of Michael Leong, the management will be able to effectively implement the board's strategy of increasing the occupancy of the group's data centres, reducing costs and conserving the group's cash resource," said Chairman Phil Cartmell in a statement.

Shares in CSF were trading down 3.0% at 4.00 pence Friday morning.
