(Alliance News) - Crystal Amber Fund Ltd, which invests in small and mid-cap companies, announced on Friday that its investment manager purchased new ordinary shares in the fund.
Crystal Amber Asset Management on Thursday purchased 200,000 shares at 194.00 pence per share, worth GBP388,000 in total.
Shares in Crystal Amber Fund Ltd were down 0.5% at 195.56p each on Friday afternoon in London.
The management company now owns 6.8%, or 6.5 million ordinary shares, in the fund.
The fund announced on Wednesday that it would pay shareholders a second interim dividend of 2.5 pence, in line with its policy of paying annual dividends totalling 5.0p.
In December, the company's net asset value per share stood at 221.67 pence, 9.4% lower than the net value of 244.62p for each share at the end of the financial year ended June 30, 2018.
