Croma Security Solutions Proposes Maiden Dividend As Profit Rises

26th Feb 2015 11:24

LONDON (Alliance News) - Croma Security Solutions Group PLC Thursday declared its maiden dividend for its first half and expressed confidence for its future performance as it saw pretax profit rise in its first half.

It proposed a maiden dividend of 0.3 pence for period.

For the half year to end-December 2014 the AIM listed security services provider posted a pretax profit of GBP265,510, up form GBP143,591 a year before, as revenue rose to GBP8.3 million to GBP7.3 million.

The company said that it was looking at opportunities to establish a presence overseas and take its products into new markets. It noted that it has seen "continued pressure on margins", but said it has "held the line."

"The group is now performing at the level it should be and has identified opportunities to increase its client base of blue chip businesses. The last few years of development and restructuring have been worthwhile, and put the group in a position to maintain a steady push for organic growth," the company said in a statement.

Shares in Croma are trading down 0.1% at 47.95 pence Thursday morning.
