25th Apr 2019 12:00

LONDON (Alliance News) - Some 11% of Croda International PLC's shareholders have rejected its remuneration report, the firm said on Thursday.

At its annual general meeting in Harrogate held Wednesday, shareholders owning 10.9 million shares rejected the report. All other resolutions were passed without significant opposition.

Meanwhile, Non-Executive Director Steve Williams stepped down at the AGM after nine years with the company, Croda reported. It did not give any details over hiring a replacement.

Shares in the specialty chemicals firm were down 0.4% Thursday at midday at 5,068.00 pence each.
