LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile services company Crimson Tide PLC on Thursday said it has secured an initial contract for a healthcare pilot project in Asia.
The project covers the serialisation and verification of pharmaceutical products, Crimson Tide said. It has been implemented by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Life Sciences Innovation Forum, Committee on Trade and Investment and Business Advisory Council.
The project will use Crimson Tide's mpro5 platform to scan pharmaceutical products.
No financial details on the contract were disclosed.
"The global impact of drug serialisation and verification cannot be underestimated. I am delighted that we have been chosen to help in this pilot project in Asia, as it opens up significant opportunities in the pharma world," said Barrie Whipp, executive chairman of Crimson Tide.
Crimson Tide shares were up 5.4% to 2.95 pence Thursday.
