(Alliance News) - Crimson Tide PLC said on Tuesday it has entered a master service agreement with FTSE 100 food service company, Compass Group PLC, for its non-UK based operations.
The Kent-based mobile software firm says the contract underpins opportunities for future sales of its digital product, mpro5, to Compass's operations across 45 countries in over 55,000 locations. The mpro5 software is a cloud-based mobile workforce management platform and service.
Crimson Tide's first contract will focus on Compass's Danish operations.
Chair Barrie Whipp said: "We have proved the value of mpro5 with Compass Group in the UK over a number of years. This master service agreement allows other Compass locations to easily add mpro5 to their operations to enjoy the great benefits in food safety and compliance that our solution affords.
"Customer engagement to date suggests that in the short to medium term deployments in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and the Asia-Pacific are the most likely though clearly this new agreement represents an excellent development of the company's relationship with Compass. We look forward to announcing further contracts with Compass locations soon."
Shares in Crimson Tide were up 3.6% at 2.90 pence on Tuesday in London. Compass shares were up 0.7% at 1,557.50 pence.
