(Alliance News) - Crimson Tide PLC on Tuesday said it has been awarded major contracts in the railway sector, worth over GBP600,000 of long-term contracted revenue.
The mobility solutions & software development services firm said that MTR Elizabeth Line and two London stations managed by Network Rail have invested in mpro5.
The London stations will use the software to reduce paper usage in its operations and to ensure that "remedial actions raised from auditing or incidents are digitized automatically and followed through to conclusion via defined workflows". MTR Elizabeth Line will use mpro5 as their default workflow tool.
Mpro5 is a workforce management software application that allows companies to manage their remote workforce.
Additionally, the Tunbridge Wells-based company said that Chiltern Railways has extended its subscription to cover safety, procurement, human resources, revenue protection, security and engineering departments.
"Within eighteen months of entering a sector, we are contracted to, or in discussions with, the majority of major players in the rail business in the UK. mpro5 has a very real opportunity of becoming an industry standard tool, and from the feedback we are getting from our clients, it should be," said Executive Chair Barrie Whipp.
Crimson Tide shares were trading 4.9% higher at 2.36 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
