LONDON (Alliance News) - Housebuilder Crest Nicholson Holdings PLC said Tuesday that it has appointed Duncan Cooper as group finance director, replacing Robert Allen.
Allen left the company in October following a profit warning for the 2018 financial year.
Cooper - a chartered accountant - will assume the role on June 17. He joins Crest from grocer J Sainsbury PLC where he has held a range of finance roles since 2010, most recently director of group finance.
Crest Nicholson Chair Stephen Stone said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Duncan onto our board and are confident that he will be a key contributor to our business, bringing a range of senior finance, investor and operational experience as we continue to embed our strategy of prioritising cashflow and dividends, maximising value in the portfolio, and improving operational efficiency."
Shares in Crest Nicholson were trading 3.4% higher at 391.60 pence each on Tuesday afternoon.
