(Alliance News) - Creo Medical Group PLC on Thursday said it has partnered with Meditek Systems to provide clinical training and market seeding for Creo products in the Indian market.
The medical device company said Meditek will train its clients to use Creo's Croma Advanced Energy platform and suite of products, including the Speedboat device, ahead of their official launch.
The Croma platform uses microwave and radiofrequency energy for less-invasive surgical treatments. The Speedboat product applies the Croma technology to the removal of lesions from the colon.
"We are delighted to begin working with Meditek to introduce our innovative product range to the Indian market," said Creo Chief Executive Craig Gulliford.
"We will continue to widen the reach of our clinical education programme to ensure the highest standards are applied to the safe and effective adoption of our portfolio of products for surgical endoscopy," added Gulliford.
Creo shares were trading 1.6% higher on Thursday in London at 149.88 pence each.
