(Alliance News) - Manufacturer of personal care, beauty and fragrance products Creightons PLC on Wednesday announced that it will push back the publication of its results for the year ended March 31 to August 26, but added that "performance remains on track".
This comes after the Financial Conduct Authority said it would withhold suspensions of listing companies who publish financial statements within six months of their year-end instead of the usual four months.
The Cambridgeshire, England-based company said: "Whilst the company has faced a number of challenges since the outbreak of Covid-19, it has also found opportunity to deliver product types currently in demand by both consumers and by industry."
Creightons introduced its new Pure Touch brand of hand sanitisers and hand washes as well as a newly developed anti-viral and alcohol-free hand cream which is about to launch.
The company also announced Philippa Clark as joint deputy managing director, alongside Martin Stevens, after helping steer the company's response to Covid-19.
Creightons shares were down 14% at 51.00 pence on Wednesday afternoon in London.
