LONDON (Alliance News) - Consumer goods giant Unilever PLC on Wednesday said it will be appointing Susan Kilsby to its board from the start of August.
Kilsby, whose appointment will be voted on at its 2019 annual general meeting, has previously headed up Credit Suisse's M&A and Europe, Middle East, & Africa businesses.
She has also served as chair at former FTSE 100 pharmaceutical firm Shire.
Chair Marijn Dekkers commented: "I am very pleased Susan has agreed to be proposed to join the boards. She has had a successful executive career in the banking sector and has extensive board experience as a non-executive in global consumer goods, financial and pharmaceutical sectors.
"She will further strengthen the boards with her broad-based expertise and deep knowledge in the areas of finance and M&A."
Unilever shares were marginally higher Wednesday at 4,073 pence each.
