(Alliance News) - Craven House Capital PLC on Wednesday said it raised USD1.9 million through a placing priced at a sharp premium to its last closing price.
Shares in the company were 20% higher at USD3.55 each in London on Wednesday morning.
The company placed 190,000 shares, to both new and existing investors, at USD10 each. The price was more than treble its USD2.95 closing price on Tuesday.
Craven House added the placing price was also a 1.1% premium to its May 31 net asset value of USD9.89 a share.
"The proceeds of the placing shares will be used to undertake investments further to the company's investment strategy," the company said.
