Craneware Makes "Good" Progress In New Financial Year; Names Chair

12th Nov 2019 10:20

(Alliance News) - Craneware PLC on Tuesday said it is focusing on growth in its recently commenced financial year following contract delays it has previously experienced.

In addition, the Edinburgh-headquartered firm said Will Whitehorn will succeed outgoing chair George Elliott from the beginning of 2020. Elliott's departure was announced in September.

Whitehorn currently serves as chair of renewable electricity firm Good Energy Group PLC and deputy chair of bus and train operator Stagecoach Group PLC. He was previously a non-executive director of both property company Purplebricks Group PLC and bookmaker GVC Holdings PLC.

Ahead of its annual general meeting, Craneware, a healthcare software firm, said it has made "good" progress in the first four months of its current financial year, continuing to sign the contracts that were delayed from the second half of the previous year and progressing towards the conclusion of the remainder.

Craneware said its Value Cycle strategy and Trisus platform continue to be well received by the senior management of US hospitals allowing it to deepen the relationship with its customers.

The AIM-listed company said its sales pipeline continues to grow with opportunities across hospitals of all sizes, and its trading is in line with management expectations.

Looking ahead, Craneware said it remains focused on the delivery of its growing opportunity and is confident that it "has the correct strategy to succeed".

The stock was trading 2.0% higher in London on Tuesday at 2,600.00 pence a share.
